CALL FOR ENTRIES – ATELIER NUNO DA LUZ – WITHOUT RESERVATION

Artist Nuno da Luz, winner of the COAL 2024 Award – “Transformative Territories” – is looking for participants for his “Feral songbook” project, which he will be presenting on November 20 at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, as part of Sans Réserve, the new event dedicated to creative work committed to the living created by COAL.

Using a sound pedagogy manual devised by the artist, this vocal workshop, based on collective improvisations and somatic practices, explores the “singing territories” of green parakeets as a mode par excellence of collaboration and polyphonic cooperation. Like a flock of birds, participants’ voices will map out a common space.

This new kind of repertoire aims to restore our relationship with the urban environment through attentive, eco-sensitive methodologies.

It’s a collective practice for which there’s no need for prior musical training or practice. All you need to do is listen, and use your voice as a form of spatial and social reference.

Every vote counts! You’ll have the chance to contribute to the Feral Songbook with your own experiences as an urban bird listener.
