Sara Dufour

is Program Director and Curator at COAL. After graduating from the Sorbonne with a degree in cultural project design and management, and working for the Paris Musées publishing house, Sara cut her teeth in New York as international project coordinator for the PERFORMA biennial, while regularly collaborating with the Louise Bourgeois and Bernar Venet studios. In 2008, she joined Spectacles vivants at the Centre Pompidou, then in 2015 the Collège des Bernardins as head of artistic programming. In 2019, she founded Maison Byron, where she designs and produces events of all kinds in the field of performing and visual arts. Two axes guide his artistic approach: a reflection on the renewal of forms of address and frameworks of representation, and an attentive and informed listening to the contemporary world.
