For the emergence of a cultural ecology. First edition on October 5 at the Goethe Institut in Nancy.
Published on 16 November 2016
COAL is invited to intervene during this day of exchanges which proposes to rely on the creativity of the cultural sector to advance sustainable development. November 22 in Malmö, Sweden.
The cultural and creative industries (CCI) represent an incredible force for innovation. Culture and humanism are essential to meet the current challenges of Europe. In Sweden and elsewhere in Europe, great efforts have been made to strengthen the KICs. However, there is still much to be done, and the organization of this convention is convinced that together we can learn from each other and take further action. This day aims to strengthen cooperation and promote the process of the cultural and creative sectors by bringing creative ideas to sustainability.
It will be organized around roundtables, workshops, conferences, new collaborations and inspiring examples of good practice in Europe, in the presence of opinion leaders, government representatives, regional and national policy makers, and other key players who influence culture, education and environmental policy across Europe.
Loïc Fel (COAL) will speak alongside Teresa Franqueira and Sigvald Harryson at the meeting “Embracing Culture and Creativity in the Wider Economy”.
