The 2014 Academic Seminar for Schools and Institutions of Sustainability will be held on Wednesday, April 16. Specific to Haute-Normandie, the regional system of schools and establishments for sustainable development (EdDD) was set up in 2005 by the Rouen Academy. In total, there are now more than 250 schools and educational institutions involved in the process.
This academic seminar, which will take place from 9 am to 5:30 pm, in the premises of Canopé (ex-CRDP) of the academy of Rouen, will then allow all the establishments and schools to exchange and testify on their various experiences related to the field of sustainable development.
This day will be articulated around several strong times:
– Conference “Art and sustainable development”, animated by COAL.
The craze for sustainable development seems to be going backwards, losing momentum, at a time when the crises are getting worse.Adapting to the increasingly concrete consequences of global warming, by living and consuming in a more collaborative and less energy-consuming way, will lead society to change. The art and culture sector represents the avant-garde and allows the acceleration of this change.
– A round table discussion “The ESD and the World Climate Conference
– Workshops around 6 themes:
1. Exchange and analysis of practices in schools and institutions
2. Biodiversity and participatory sciences
3. Food wastage in the context of waste reduction
4. Citizen ecomobility
5. Health and environment
6. Methods of animation and mobilization for the conduct of a project
– The official presentation of the labels to the institutions and schools.
These highlights will be complemented by an exhibition of works, visible from April 1 to 18 in the CRDP lobby, created by the students on the theme of Art and Development. This academic seminar – 2014 edition, placed under the sign of Art, is part of the networking process of high schools, including the network of art professions, initiated by the rector of the academy.
