For the emergence of a cultural ecology. First edition on October 5 at the Goethe Institut in Nancy.
Published on 18 January 2017
COAL has been invited to participate in the 9th edition of Urban Art Sundays, which aims to highlight the role of culture and art in addressing the environmental crisis.
The Maison de l’Environnement and the Learning Center-Sustainable City invite us to enter the year 2017 by saluting the essential role of creation and culture in raising awareness and implementing concrete solutions for a sustainable future. Together, let us express the wish to further enrich the culture of ecology, which puts environmental issues at the center of its concerns and carries in its motives the fight against the global ecological crisis.
Program :
14H00 – Doors open, free visit of the exhibitions.
15H00 – Concert of Kinoko / Marie Lamy de La Chapelle. Marie is a strange young woman who blurs the signs. Kinoko is a minimal, nervous and delicate sound, a kind of purified trip-hop, a clear voice in volutes, texts that speak, in French most of the time. With Viens l’orage ! Kinoko launches a war cry for those who want to live differently ! With a projection of images of a fantasized neo-Tokyo.
16H00 – Meetings with COAL. Loïc Fel, co-founder of COAL(https://projetcoal.org/) will propose a dialogue on the emergence of a culture of ecology, nature and sustainability. Together, we will discuss the richness of the answers brought by culture and art to the global ecological crisis. This crisis, which is manifested by climate change, biodiversity erosion, resource scarcity, and pollution, is above all a cultural challenge, determined by our individual and collective behaviors.
17H00 – After these wishes for tomorrow in the form of a plea for a cultural approach to the transformation of territories for the ecological transition, tasting of natural champagne.
