Following the postponement of the World Conservation Congress, from 3 to 11 September 2021, VIVANT reappeared in September 2021 with a series of eco-cultural events in Marseille: an exhibition bringing together twelve artists committed to the living world within the Congress' Nature Generation Spaces, evening performances at the Marseilles Natural History Museum with the Cie du Singe Debout, a monumental fresco by the artist Fikos in the city centre punctuated by workshops and talks about birds, professional training for Sustainable Culture, a performance by the collective L'Envers d'un monde, winners of the 2020 COAL - Culture &amp; Diversity student prize, a meeting on art and ecology at the Pavillon France, and a calendar of cultural events on the theme of life offered by the Season's partner structures.\r\n\r\nVIVANT, a cultural Season for Biodiversity, is part of the general context of the sixth mass extinction that threatens the diversity of living beings, affecting both species and ecosystems. In France, 18% of species, i.e. nearly one species in five, are already considered extinct or threatened.
