Clément Willemin

is a co-founder of COAL, a visual artist, a landscape architect and an urban planner. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles, he founded the BASE agency in 2000 (70 people), then his agency Wald (Willemin Architecture Landscape Design) in 2019. He is the author of more than 500 projects for public spaces, exhibitions and conferences in France and abroad. He has taught landscape and urban planning in Versailles, Strasbourg, Zurich, and Vienna. A member of the Architectural Design Association of Nippon, the administrative council of the School of Landscapes of Ecological Transition, alongside Jacqueline Osty and Gilles Clément, he is publishing his first landscape essay in 2019: Walden x.
