At a time when the reserves on which our current and future lifestyles are based are being exhausted, offering a shared space-time for unreserved self-expression through new types of creative practice that have emerged from the traditional reserves of art, questioning conservationist logics and inventing new ways of preserving living territories – this is the ambition of SANS RÉSERVE, the new meeting place for creative artists committed to ecology, organized to coincide with the COAL 2024 Prize.
Accompanied‧es. thinkers‧ses, activists‧es and nature protectors, discover on this occasion the work of the ten artists nominated around the theme Se Transformer, during meetings, performances, workshops, installations and experiments. Each in their own way deploying restorative practices, approaches to reconnection that are at once somatic, sensory and spiritual; the skills of the hand and the earth, their proposals reveal the powers of art not only to alert and denounce, but also to repair and connect through gestures of care and sharing.
