Forestry boom and participatory workshops at the Climate Academy

In this context and for this new season, Appel d’Air offers a forest program designed with the NFB and Yes We Camp, from March 17 to 20, 2022, at the Climate Academy. The opportunity to reflect in a festive and convivial way on the place of the tree in urban development policies.

In the wake of an urban redefinition, nature is grafted onto the main avenues, hanging from the balconies, and interfering in our daily lives. In this reinvention of cities, the tree is a new urban signage that redesigns our mobility markers and creates a link between humans and their environment.

It is in any case the step of Appel d’Air, participative work of Thierry Boutonnier, ordered by the Company of the Big Paris to accompany the building sites of the Big Paris Express. This work, alive and collective, wishes to reintegrate the tree by swarming and generating a real urban forest within the cities.

Programming

On thursday 17 and friday 18 march, Vive Les Groues opens its doors to four classes of cm2, from schools of Nanterre, for different actions of arboricultural awareness. Animated by Thierry Boutonnier, Sylvain Gaufillier and the association COAL, these meetings allow to initiate the youngest to the urban arboriculture by practical workshops of staking and cutting and artistic expression around a collective snack.

Climate-o-ké

Whether you’re a fan of the microphone or know nothing about nature-related songs, a Climat-o-ké des arbres is organized by Appel d’Air, Yes We Camp and the ONF within the Académie du Climat. Come and share your singing talents and let your voices be heard on popular songs on the theme of trees.

In a desire to increase the presence of trees in Greater Paris and in the continuity of the project, Appel d’Air, come and put your hands in the ground for a Paulownia tomentosa cutting workshop, an opportunity to adopt cuttings during an adoption ceremony, and to complete your arboricultural, biological and technical knowledge with the Appel d’air team.
