EMILY LOIZEAU IN CONCERT

JUNE 21 – 7:30 p.m.

Château de Fontainebleau Park

For this sixth edition of the Nuits des Forêts in Fontainebleau, we are delighted to celebrate nature and forest preservation with a sensitive and committed concert by singer-songwriter Emily Loizeau. With her singular voice and profound lyrics, she builds bridges between French chanson, folk and world music. A luminous artist, she draws her audience into a poetic universe of emotion, ecological awareness and humanism. On stage, her generous presence and inhabited music offer a suspended, intimate and powerful moment.

The singer-songwriter tackles themes linked to climate change and its consequences for our society. She calls on us not to lose hope and to rise up together to make our world a better place. Following the release of her album ICARE in 2021, Emily Loizeau releases La souterraine in 2024, in the same vein as her previous album, produced with the help of John Parish, who also worked with PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding and Dominique A.

In the exceptional setting of the château, with the forest as her horizon, Emily Loizeau, alone at the piano, offers a unique ode to life for the Nuits des forêts.
