Blühen, which means “blossoming” in German, is the name of the new cultural ecology event created by the Goethe Institut in Nancy with COAL, in homage to the famous poet and botanist, who was as interested in the beauty of words as he was in the mystery of flowers.
Join artists, philosophers and cultural players in the Goethe Institut’s garden, inherited from the Nancy school and its botanical gardens, to let imaginations, desires, inspirations and the thousand and one ways of rethinking our relationship with living things blossom.
This first day of artistic and cultural experiences, encounters, performances and gardening will be devoted to the need to take care: care of the Earth, care of ourselves and of others, whether human or not.
