In order to improve the ecological footprint of the Parisian territory by encouraging as many people as possible to carry out eco-actions, the City of Paris is opening a new system for the promotion, exchange and dissemination of good environmental practices with the aim of sustainable development.
At the heart of the system, the www.acteursduparisdurable.fr website makes visible the eco-actions already carried out, promotes the actors who have implemented them, encourages exchanges and offers everyone practical tools provided by partners: guides, contacts, feedback, or websites.
Times for live exchanges of experience between different actors are also organized during events organized by the City of Paris and its partners.
Alongside ADEME, the Paris Climate Agency and Comité 21, Coal is a partner of the Acteurs du Paris durable and shares its experience on cultural aspects.
Who are the Sustainable Paris Actors?
The Actors are individuals, companies, associations, businesses, schools, administrations, artists, located in Paris or working on the Parisian territory.
The site allows each actor to :
– Create your profile
– Reproduce an eco-action proposed by the site
– Propose a new eco-action
– Commenting, sharing experience, giving leads and tools to other actors
What types of eco-actions?
An “Actors for a Sustainable Paris” eco-action must be carried out in Paris, have a tangible and quantifiable collective environmental benefit, be part of a process of change, be an incentive and likely to be reproduced and, if possible, innovative.
The eco-actions are presented according to the themes of our daily lives: “consuming, housing, living, developing, sharing, communicating, producing, moving, transporting, creating, entertaining, raising awareness, feeding ourselves, or working”.
The eco-actions are explained in educational sheets commented by the Actors.
Rendez-vous des Acteurs du Paris durable, from October 6 to 9, 2011
On the occasion of the4th Parisian Energy and Climate Days, the Stakeholders will meet :
– Thursday, October 6 in the Salons of the City Hall from 12:00 to 14:30 for workshops on seven themes.
– On Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 on the square in front of the City Hall, a dedicated exhibition space of the Actors is installed to answer questions from the general public.
