On January 22, at 8:00 pm, Lauranne Germond, director of COAL, will speak at the conference “Ecological approach to life in society: Art as a way to impact behaviors in urban areas and their environment”. alongside Pablo Georgieff of the Colocco collective and Charlotte Marquardt of the Vertical Detour Company.

This conference is organized within the framework of the “Jeudis de la Sorbonne” at the Carreau du temple.

Idée² – Les Jeudis de la Sorbonne, is the new meeting of the Carreau du Temple which proposes in free access debates and conferences with innovating and varied formats, tackling current and social issues. These events are built with regular partners (Jeudis de la Sorbonne, Les Economiques, Paris bibliothèques). They promote meetings and intellectual exchanges between high school students, students, professionals and the general public. Created in 1990, Les Jeudis de la Sorbonne is a series of public lectures organized by students enrolled in the Master 1 “Métiers des arts et de la culture” program at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In 2016, in partnership with the Carreau du Temple, they are offering several evenings on the theme of “Culture, environment and climate”, questioning both art and politics in this context.
