The Consulate, a new Parisian space initiated by the GANG association, is dedicated to the emergence of a collective vision in a given space-time with the aim of expressing new solutions for a better future, leaving it up to each person to experiment as he or she sees fit (dancing, gathering, thinking, acting).

Art has been part of it since its inception because each profound change in our civilization is matched by a new imagination, a vision that federates energies to the point of making it possible, in the Renaissance, during the Industrial Revolution and today for the ecological transition. An imaginary that is sufficiently precise and positive for citizens to have the motivation to change the world.

Because culture is the common framework that determines our individual and collective behavior, it will allow us to unite around a fairer and more sustainable society.

This is the mission that the association COAL, coalition for art and sustainable development, has given itself through contemporary creation. To do this, it identifies, through the COAL Art and Environment Prize, the best artists’ proposals in the world, and accompanies them through residencies, productions, exhibitions and artistic direction of collections.
