Organized by the workshops of Paris and the actors of sustainable Paris with the collaboration of COAL. Animated by Loic Fel (COAL).
With : Laurent CORIO, designer, Isabelle DAERON, scenographer and designer, Elodie STEPHAN, designer, Olivier DARNE, plastic artist, urban bee breeder, Ivana ADAIME MAKAC, plastic artist and Damien CHIVIALLE, designer.
Presented as part of the Raw Materials exhibition which honors creators of global design, upcycling or slow design, this workshop of exchanges propose to the creators to express themselves on the time of the project in the creation and the economy of the creation through the interpretation or the recycling of the natural or alive matter in an approach of sustainable development.

Les Ateliers de Paris and the Maison des Acteurs du Paris durable invite you from December 7 to 11 to discover the exhibition “Matières Premières” at the Maison des Acteurs du Paris Durable, mounted with the Réserve des Arts.
Matières premières offers creators the opportunity to express themselves on their reading of the “long time”, the time of the project in the creation and the economy of creation through the interpretation or the recycling of the material already worked, natural or alive, in a sustainable development approach.
Global design, upcycling or slow design are declined by different approaches experienced daily by the creators: work in time on the material and the living, integration of biorhythms in the cycle of the object and the material, passage of the idea to the project then to the economic valorization.
